NIMS and ARCT

ARCT, Amateur Radio Communications Team. This is a recent development that defines how a team is assembled, and to bring amateur radio emergency and auxiliary communication (EMCOMM) resources into compliance with Incident Command System practice and procedures.

This most likely will affect us in the foreseeable future. It has been put on the fast track in Washington.

ARPSC Service Guide Published

After much work, and several revisions, a guide is available that shows, in detail, the needs, requirements, and resources for ARPSC and our Served Agencies. This document is a must read, and makes a great addition to any shack, go-kit, or EOC/Hospital or other station. We would like to thank the Officers and those who helped craft this document and hope you find it helpful.

Seeking Liaisons From Other Groups

Macomb County ARPSC is seeking liaisons from the other Amateur Radio groups in the area in an effort to pool resources, and develop intercommunication and interoperability with these groups. We are also seeking liaisons from the Macomb County ARPSC group to work with the other groups.
